The EHS Process Specialist is a technically grounded professional responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving Victaulic's safety and environmental management programs, with a specific emphasis on process engineering. This role bridges manufacturing process design and EHS compliance — ensuring safety is engineered into operational systems from inception through execution. Working at the intersection of engineering and people, the Specialist partners with cross-functional teams including process engineers, plant operations, quality, and organizational development to build a proactive safety culture that reduces risk, drives regulatory compliance, and supports operational excellence across Victaulic's manufacturing environment. This hands-on, 1-year contract role (with extension potential based on business needs) requires someone equally comfortable analyzing hazards and collaborating with plant leadership. Core responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive EHS management systems, managing injury cases, identifying and controlling workplace hazards, and supporting environmental resource conservation initiatives. Occasional travel is required. The ideal candidate brings both the engineering rigor to assess process risk and the people skills to influence safety culture — making this role as much about building systems as it is about building trust.
