About The Position

Join Pratt & Whitney's Columbus Forge facility as an Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Coordinator and play a critical role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. In this position, you will support the implementation of EH&S programs, identify opportunities to reduce risk, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety performance across the site. Your work will help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting operational excellence in a world-class aerospace manufacturing environment. This is a 1st Shift position : Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, industrial, safety, quality, operations, or related environment.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30, Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or other relevant industrial safety certification.
  • Experience supporting EH&S compliance in a manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable environmental and safety regulations.
  • Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, project management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations leaders and employees to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations, and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support EH&S programs by collecting and analyzing data, maintaining compliance documentation, and updating EH&S management systems.
  • Perform industrial hygiene sampling, safety assessments, and field evaluations to identify risks and recommend effective controls.
  • Assist with EH&S projects, continuous improvement initiatives, employee training, and site safety committees to drive operational excellence.
  • Collaborate across departments to support sitewide environmental, health, and safety objectives and other assigned responsibilities.
