We are a leading provider of aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions that safely & reliably extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture and repair critical turbine components for a range of engine platforms. Our solutions support the engines running the aerospace, energy and defense industries around the world. This is an hourly position with Local 475, rate of pay is $32.31/hr.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain: RCRA (annual) and DOT (every three years) Certification
Forklift and man lift certification
Lockout Tagout Training
Confined Space Training
Must be proficient in MS office and entering data in computer programs
Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum lift floor to waist – 30 pounds
Minimum lift waist to shoulder level – 30 pounds
Minimum pull – 40 pounds
Due to government regulation only US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

Waste management: Proper containment, labeling, staging, and storage of various hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., RCRA)
Prepare internal and external reports
Industrial Wastewater: Operate and maintain the on-site wastewater treatment system, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory discharge limits
Perform and record daily system checks, flow rates, pH levels, and chemical dosing
Perform routine preventative maintenance on wastewater treatment systems. Pumps, valves. Sensors, and associated equipment to ensure optimal operation and prevent breakdowns
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, leaks, clogs, and alarms in wastewater and fume scrubber system
Maintain equipment logs, service records, and maintenance schedules according to manufacturer guidelines and internal procedures
Environmental Health and Safety (EHS): Conduct routine inspections of eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, fire control valves, spill kits, etc.
Assist with Velocity Hazard ID closures and follow up
Participate as EHS representative in TPM, CI, and Kaizen events
