Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
- Performs all exams in the EEG department.
- Documents exams done in the department.
- Assists Chief EEG Technician as necessary.
- Maintains an accurate filing system.
- Handles in-patient and out-patient reports and directs them to the appropriate destination.
- Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies.
- Maintains equipment in good working order.
- Participates in department and hospital wide Process Improvement Activities.
