About The Position
Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital is seeking an EEG Tech for a full-time day shift position. In this role, you will review patient records, instruct patients prior to procedures, monitor patients during procedures, identify and correct artifacts, edit and forward results to the attending physician, and maintain EEG equipment and supplies.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing &Accreditation (ABRET) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review patient's record and instructs patients prior to procedures.
- Monitor patient during procedures and reports any abnormal findings.
- Identify and correct for artifacts.
- Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
- Maintain EEG equipment and supplies.
