About The Position

Goodstart Sinnamon Park is seeking a permanent, full-time Educator to help provide children with a strong start in life. The Educator works alongside Senior Educators and the Educational Leader to create and improve learning programs, and helps ensure children are safe, included, and valued in their learning experiences. The centre has 74 places across five rooms, is next to Sinnamon Park Village Shopping Centre, has parking out front, and is a short walk from a local bus stop. It is open from 6:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. The Centre Director has more than 18 years of experience in early childhood education. Pay is $35.44–$37.81 per hour, based on experience, and at least 5% above the award rate.

Requirements

Certificate III in Early Childhood.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
Current Blue Card (working with children check).
Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via the Geccko platform.

Work alongside Senior Educators and the Educational Leader to create and enhance learning programs for children.
Promote safety and inclusion so every child feels valued and can thrive in their learning experiences.
Help ensure children are safeguarded from abuse, neglect, and harm.
