About The Position

As a Goodstart Educator, you will work alongside Senior Educators and the Educational Leader to create and enhance learning programs for children. You will help maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child can thrive and feel valued. The role is based at Goodstart Horsham in Horsham, Western Victoria, and is full-time for 38 hours per week. Goodstart Horsham provides an inclusive, child-centred environment that supports children’s identities, cultures and individual needs. Its approach includes consistent key educator relationships, play-based learning, warm and homely indoor environments, and outdoor spaces with gardens, sandpits and shaded play areas. The centre’s experienced team partners with families and offers activities such as swimming lessons for funded 3- and 4-year-olds, nursing home visits, incursions and excursions, and a family celebration event.

Requirements

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
Current Working with Children Check; candidates must also have or obtain a valid check and complete National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform.
