Join us at the Jo Ann Bingham Clinical Simulation Center, where innovation, compassion, and evidence‑based practice come together to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. As a premier training environment serving students and educators across the New River and Roanoke Valleys, our center offers state‑of‑the-art simulation technology, including high‑fidelity manikins, standardized patients, and fully equipped clinical and community-care environments. These immersive learning spaces replicate acute, primary, and home‑healthcare settings, allowing learners to develop critical thinking, clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills in a safe, supportive environment. Named in honor of Jo Ann Moorehead Bingham, a visionary entrepreneur whose generosity and dedication to healthcare education continue to advance our mission, the center is committed to preparing competent, compassionate clinicians who are ready to serve their communities with excellence. Her legacy supports ongoing faculty development, simulation research, standardized patient programs, and cutting‑edge learning experiences that enhance professional readiness. As part of the Radford University College of Nursing, our center thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a shared passion for elevating healthcare education. Whether you’re an educator, clinician, student, or simulation specialist, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to transforming learning through experiential practice and technology‑enhanced instruction—ensuring that when it’s real, our learners will be ready. The Educator and Co-coordinator works collaboratively with all nursing faculty, administration, and students to develop and implement clinical simulation as a method of learning for nursing students to enhance and support their educational needs. This is a 12-month appointment.
