Requirements

  • Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools' Teaching Statements and Statement of Faith .
  • Associate's degree in information systems, computer science, electronics, or related field (bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of basic technical network concepts and a demonstrable ability to troubleshoot devices.
  • Excellence in organization, asset management, and technical record-keeping.
  • Posses excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically the ability to teach technical information to less tech-savvy employees.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to carry up to 75 pounds for short distances.
  • Spend significant time walking and standing while visiting classrooms and troubleshooting problems.
  • A Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action.
  • Able to attend devotions, faculty meetings, and required evening/weekend school functions.
  • Background check clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Highly Desired: Proven experience in educational technology coaching or instructional support.
  • Preference for candidates with, or pursuing, CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft Educator (MIE), or similar certifications supporting device management and instructional technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting and repair for all technology devices (550+ PC devices, printers, projectors) on the Junior High/High School campus.
  • Maintain and oversee the entire lifecycle of student devices, including inventory, cleaning, imaging, and rigorous check-out/check-in records.
  • Manage the Device Insurance Program, including damage assessment, processing repairs, and submitting all necessary claims or fines.
  • Maintain Active Directory and Office 365 accounts; perform student grade promotions and maintain school information-system databases.
  • Partner with faculty and staff to provide training and guidance on new technologies and classroom software applications.
  • Create user documentation and training materials (e.g., "how-to" guides) to empower staff and students in their use of district technology.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the campus and the contracted IT vendor for infrastructure issues, determining which items can be handled in-house and which require escalation.
  • Manage tech-related supply orders (toner, bulbs, etc.) while attempting to standardize equipment across the campus.
  • Research and test new hardware and software solutions to assist with school technology initiatives.
