About The Position

The Educational Technology Coordinator works under the supervision of the Executive Director of Educational Services and supports the effective and strategic integration of technology into teaching and learning across the Colorado Early Colleges Network. This role focuses on platform management, training, implementation support, and standardization to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes. The Coordinator collaborates with academic leadership and campus teams while providing functional guidance on job duties to campus-based IT technicians. This position plays a key role in advancing CEC’s vision for student-centered, technology-enabled learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Education, Information Technology, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting educational technology integration, platform management, or instructional support in a school or educational network setting.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas), student information systems, and instructional technology tools.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering training and professional development for educators and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to create training materials, guides, and asynchronous learning resources.
  • Experience collaborating with both academic and technical teams in a K-12 or higher education environment.
  • Strong knowledge of educational technology and instructional best practices.
  • Experience supporting technology integration in a 6–12 school setting.
  • Excellent training and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Educational Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with change management and rollout of new technology platforms is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of educational technology platforms aligned with CEC’s instructional priorities.
  • Develop and maintain network-wide standards, usage guidelines, and best practices for instructional technology tools.
  • Design and deliver training and professional development for staff on educational platforms, including onboarding and role-specific support.
  • Create user-friendly training materials, guides, and asynchronous learning modules.
  • Lead rollout and change management efforts for new platforms, including communication and campus support.
  • Monitor platform usage and effectiveness; partner with data teams to analyze impact on student outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison between campuses, central IT, and vendors for instructional technology troubleshooting and support.
  • Promote standardization, systems integration, and streamlined workflows to reduce redundancy across the network.
  • Provide functional guidance to campus-based IT technicians on platform-related job duties, best practices, and technical support protocols (day-to-day supervision remains with Heads of School).
  • Gather feedback from staff and campuses to continuously improve technology utilization and support.
