About The Position

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is hiring a full-time Educational Diagnostician in Texas. The role conducts psychoeducational assessments to help determine eligibility for specialized services and identify students’ educational needs. The diagnostician explains evaluation results to parents and district staff with clear, compassionate communication, and collaborates with school teams to develop evidence-based interventions that improve student performance, participation, and access to education. The position also participates in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other team discussions to help ensure special education programs address students’ individual needs.

Candor describes its team as collaborative and supportive, and offers mentorship opportunities and professional development reimbursement. Starting pay is $48.00 per hour, with compensation for every minute worked. Benefits are available to eligible employees.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Special Education or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
