About The Position

Grants Pass School District No. 7 is accepting applications for a Special Education Educational Assistant position at Lincoln Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. This position works 6 hours per day for 182 days per year, typically from August to June. The district's vision is 'We Are GP! A learning community committed to excellence and success for all.' Requirements

  • Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
  • Two years of college study OR an associate’s or higher degree OR a passing score on the District reading, writing, and math assessment.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of and experience with computers.
  • Knowledge of business English, spelling and mathematics.
  • Some knowledge of office practices and procedures.
  • Type at a working rate speed.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees.
  • Ability to get along well with students.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.

  • Longevity Service Stipend after 10 years of employment ($1,000-$1,600).
