About The Position

Grants Pass School District No. 7 is accepting applications for a Special Education Educational Assistant position at South Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. This role requires 6 hours of work per day for a 183-day calendar. Requirements

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
Two years of college study OR an associate’s or higher degree OR a passing score on the District reading, writing, and math assessment.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Knowledge of and experience with computers.
Knowledge of business English, spelling and mathematics.
Some knowledge of office practices and procedures.
Type at a working rate speed.
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees.
Ability to get along well with students.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.

Benefits

$17.57-$25.38 per hour. Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.

Longevity Service Stipend after 10 years of employment ($1,000-$1,600).
