The University of Florida TREEO Center is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to serve as an Education/Training Specialist II. This position plays a key role in coordinating professional education and training programs, with primary responsibility for TREEO’s Solid Waste programs and support for Safety & Health programs. The Education/Training Specialist II will work closely with program staff, instructors, students, clients, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality professional education programs. Responsibilities include coordinating course schedules and logistics, communicating with students and clients, supporting course registration and materials, maintaining program records, assisting with course delivery and outreach, and providing administrative and technical support for learning and registration systems. Reporting to the Program Manager II, this position serves as the primary coordinator for assigned TREEO Center Solid Waste training programs while providing administrative and operational support for Health & Safety training programs. Responsibilities include course scheduling, student and client communication, course preparation, instructor support, training logistics, and program documentation. The position works closely with the Program Manager II and instructors to ensure timely and effective delivery of training programs and supports continuous improvement, student success, regulatory compliance, and program growth within assigned areas.
