Seeking an education support professional to work in a substantially separate classroom with a partial inclusion program for students with special needs. This role involves working under the daily direction of a licensed Special Education Teacher and BCBA experienced in Autism, Developmentally Delayed, and other severe neurological disabilities. The professional will be experienced in Applied Behavior Analysis, keeping performance data, and administering tutoring and support services to students in a classroom, small group, or one-on-one setting. The role requires supporting students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals set by the special education team. Knowledge of augmentative/alternative communication methods, sensory diets, reinforcement schedules, and behavior management techniques is essential. The professional must be adept at working collaboratively with teachers and specialists to provide a transdisciplinary instructional approach. Toileting/diapering and heavy lifting may be required.
