This position is responsible for coordinating the implementation of State Board of Education strategic priorities and key K–12 initiatives across teams, programs, and divisions. The role supports statewide strategic planning by tracking initiatives and monitoring performance to ensure alignment with department goals and continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities include preparing legislative reports, board briefings, presentations, and executive-level materials that synthesize education policy, program information, and student outcome data. The position also assists in administering state and federal K–12 grants, ensuring accurate applications, reporting, procurement coordination, and compliance. Additionally, the role involves analyzing education laws, regulations, and guidance to inform implementation planning, strengthen program alignment, and support data-driven decision-making for Alaska’s schools.
