The Nittany AI Alliance is hiring an early-career Education Program Specialist to support the Nittany AI Challenge and help develop AI tools that support program operations. The role works with the program manager to improve student learning experiences, provide technical support to interns, mentor Challenge participants, support workshops and events, and track program outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to pursue a master's degree during the appointment. It is funded for one year; continuation beyond that period depends on university need, performance, and/or funding availability. The position involves regular on-campus engagement during the semester, typically three to four days each week, at University Park. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required; hours can be flexed when such work is necessary. Remote or hybrid work approval is not guaranteed. Employment is contingent on successful completion of required background checks, and applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; Penn State does not sponsor staff employment visas.
