About The Position

Apply educational expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. The work shapes how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. Prior AI experience is not required; domain knowledge is the focus. This remote contract role is preferred for candidates in the USA.

The position involves evaluating and refining interactive learning materials, analyzing learning interactions, improving assessment tools, providing expert feedback on educational content, and developing or reviewing visual and multimodal instructional resources. Practitioners document observations and recommendations clearly, collaborate remotely, and contribute insights to improve AI-driven educational tools and resources.

Requirements

• Expertise as an instructional designer, educator, or other relevant education practitioner; no prior AI experience is required.
• Ability to judge academic correctness, learner appropriateness, and the developmental value of educational activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for precise feedback and effective remote collaboration.

Nice To Haves

• Extensive experience as an instructional designer, learning scientist, assessment specialist, or educator within K-12, higher education, or edtech contexts.
• Demonstrated success designing, evaluating, or delivering tutoring, quizzes, formative assessments, or interactive educational media.
• Hands-on experience developing or applying rubrics, outcome measurement strategies, or innovative grading systems.
• Experience creating or optimizing visual, interactive, or multimodal learning materials for diverse audiences.
• Availability aligned to the US Pacific Time zone is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine interactive learning materials, including quizzes, formative assessments, and tutoring content, for accuracy, pedagogical soundness, and learner engagement.
• Analyze learning interactions to determine whether they build durable understanding rather than provide rote answers.
• Apply and enhance assessment rubrics, grading criteria, and outcome measurement tools to maintain high standards of learner evaluation.
• Provide expert feedback on educational content for academic rigor, suitability for diverse learners, and alignment with learning objectives.
• Develop, review, or iterate on visual and multimodal instructional resources to enhance comprehension and retention.
• Document observations and recommendations clearly and precisely, supporting effective collaboration through strong written and verbal communication.
• Contribute insights to improve AI-driven educational tools and resources using learning design and evaluation experience.
