About The Position

The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for full-time regular education paraprofessionals starting with the 2026-27 school year. Paraprofessionals in the School District of Onalaska are classified as one encompassing unit of employees and are an integral part of the school system's programs. Paraprofessionals are assigned by the building administrator to many assignments which may be different in each of the schools. Current openings/assignments include Middle School (Regular Education/Library) from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, Irving Pertzsch from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, and Northern Hills from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm. Requirements

  • A minimum of two years (48 credits) post high school education, or an associate degree preferred.
  • If two years post high school is not achieved, applicants must have passed ParaPro Assessment or designated WorkKeys Assessments prior to employment.
