About The Position

The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for part-time regular education paraprofessionals starting with the 2026-27 school year. Paraprofessionals are an integral part of the school system's programs and are assigned by the building administrator to various assignments which may differ in each school. Current openings include positions at Irving Pertzsch (4K Preschool/Regular education) for 4.5 hours per day, and at Eagle Bluff (4K Preschool/Regular education) for 4.5 hours per day, or (Regular education) for two positions at 4 hours per day or 4.25 hours per day. The work is limited to the school day, with no nights or weekends, though summer school work is available if interested.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years (48 credits) post high school education, or an associate degree preferred.
  • If two years post high school is not achieved, applicants must have passed ParaPro Assessment or designated WorkKeys Assessments prior to employment.
