The Education Director, Special Programs will be accountable for the successful operation of an ASHP member program(s) and service(s). Has responsibility for developing/maintaining work tools, processes, systems and program protocols to deliver member services and programs. Responsible for the development and execution of the Office of Professional Development and Publishing (OPDP) educational projects for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. This is a hybrid position that requires candidates to live in the Washington, DC area and be present in the downtown Bethesda, Maryland office as needed. At ASHP, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. The salary range for this position is $125,000-$155,000 and ASHP offers a comprehensive benefits plan. This salary range represents a reasonable estimate of the annual salary based on ASHP’s commitment to provide equitable and market-competitive pay. The actual salary offered will take into consideration many factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, educational background and licenses/certifications, skills and experience, internal pay equity, and other business and organizational needs. We anticipate this role beginning in early January 2027, and we hope the candidate will be able to attend our Midyear event in December 2026 prior to starting. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
