This position is considered Seasonal Full-Time, with an approximate start date in March/April and running through December, including some downtime during the off-peak period. The Education Coordinator will supervise teachers in the implementation of the Early Learning Outcome Framework (ELOF) and curricula, train and mentor in appropriate teaching strategies, and assist in the coordination of Staff Development plans. They will also coordinate and implement developmental screening and assessments, support Pre-school teacher’s implementation of high-quality interaction, and coordinate the collection, analysis, communication, and dissemination of data. The role includes oversight of mental health and disability service delivery, managing the daily schedule of classroom staff (including substituting), and conducting ongoing monitoring of classrooms. Additionally, the coordinator will establish and maintain working relationships with local school districts, therapists, mental health providers, and childcare partners, complete record keeping and reporting, ensure teaching staff comply with policies and procedures, supervise teachers and conduct annual performance evaluations, and ensure classrooms have necessary materials. The position also involves assisting in the coordination of parent meetings, overseeing the implementation of Fatherhood activities, and maintaining confidentiality of client records. The role requires the ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm under pressure. All work must be performed in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, safety practices, and relevant regulations.
