About The Position

The EMS Education Coordinator is responsible for planning, setting up, and coordinating student activities with internal and external resources. This role involves designing, evaluating, and recommending program and policy development, as well as developing, promoting, and evaluating marketing for departmental services and outreach activities. The coordinator will also develop and maintain relationships with community referral resources, assist with student orientation and training, and prepare periodic reports. Requirements

• High School Graduate
• 2 years related experience
• Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification
• Emergency State MEDICAL Technician (EMT) in Michigan license

Nice To Haves

• 3 years EMT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Works with internal and external resources to plan, set up, and coordinate student activities
• Designs, evaluates, and recommends program and policy development.
• Develops, promotes, and evaluates marketing departmental services and outreach activities
• Develops and maintains relationships with community referral resources
• Assist with orientation and training of students.
• Participates and attends meeting as required and/or assigned.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requests
• Prepares periodic reports as requested.
