About The Position
This role involves teaching and shaping care delivery across Great Lakes communities. The specialist will build the skills and confidence of care teams, contributing to a culture of preparedness, support, and pride. The position plays a key part in resident safety and quality of care, bringing energy and creativity to hands-on, interactive teaching, and welcoming new team members.
Requirements
- Active Minnesota RN license
- 2+ years of RN experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior care
- A clear, encouraging teaching style
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching dementia care, skills, and medication administration
- CPR instructor certification
Responsibilities
- Lead classes for general orientation, dementia care, skills, and medication training.
- Keep training materials and records current with MN, WI, and CO assisted living requirements.
- Travel to communities for on-site training as needed.
