About The Position

The Education and Training team is responsible for building capability across the site for all employees. The Education & Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in training planning and execution. The primary focus of the Education & Training Coordinator will be to coordinate and where applicable, lead Education and Training related activities to support operational excellence within Mondelez International: Richmond Bakery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Industrial Management, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Or minimum 3 years’ experience within manufacturing setting with certification or exposure to Lean Six Sigma, TPM, or operational excellence methodologies.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Results focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent Planning and Prioritization skills.
  • Previous Project Management experience.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to Learn on the fly and work under pressure.
  • Must be computer literate with high competency in current MS Office packages (including Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Must be fluent in English both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

  • Train the Trainer or coaching experience.
  • High level of coordination experience, ideally within a Learning & Development (L&D) environment.
  • Formal Training Qualification.
  • Worked in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating Education & Training activity within the scope of Mondelez International, your duties will include:
  • Drive a strong learning and continuous improvement culture at the Plant for all employees.
  • Promote ownership of capability development while partnering with shop floor colleagues and cross-functional management teams.
  • Plan & Execute training roadmap based on continuous improvement tools like Root Cause Analysis, Loss Elimination, and other Operational Excellence Tools.
  • Partner with line-level stakeholders to ensure updated training documents.
  • Plan, execute, and track the annual training plan aligned with the plant's priorities.
  • Ensure site compliance training is planned, executed, and recorded as per internal and external legal and audit parameters.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training, identify opportunities, and recommend or implement improvements as needed.
  • Development and execution of E&T Pillar Works Processes, as required.
  • Develop and maintain plant Skills Matrix and qualifications.
  • Drive technical training, multi-skilling, and operator qualification and certification program.
  • Administrative management of E&T activities, ensuring all records are accurate and to the current site standard.
  • Provide monthly reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) on E&T delivery.
  • Maintain accurate training records, Qualification status, and Compliance tracking
  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on the design and implementation of learning interventions around the 70:20:10 principle (hands on training).
  • Work with stakeholders to overcome challenges in bridging the skills gaps such as shifts, skill levels, and engagement.
  • Project management, as required (e.g. launch of Learning Management System for the site ie. Workday, etc.).
