Education and Outreach Specialist
About The Position
The Education and Outreach Specialist serves as a bridge between community members and providers by conducting outreach and education across the eastern Trillium counties in North Carolina. The role supports the One Community Team by attending community events, which may take place during evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a community-based position, and candidates must reside in Columbus, Bladen, or Robeson County. Staff travel to multiple counties each week, including Craven, Jones, Carteret, Duplin, Sampson, Onslow, Pender, New Hanover, Brunswick, Columbus, Bladen, Robeson, Hoke, and Scotland. The schedule fluctuates weekly and may include mornings, evenings, and weekends; flexibility is essential to accommodate events outside standard business hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license.
- Auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work.
- Must reside in Columbus, Bladen, or Robeson County.
- Must be comfortable traveling to multiple counties each week.
- Must be available for a fluctuating weekly schedule that includes mornings, evenings, and weekends.
