Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the Engineering majors stated below from an ABET accredited university
  • Graduation dates: December 2026 or May/June 2027
  • Degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aero Engineering, Controls Engineering, Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other Energy Engineering related majors will be considered
  • GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen (as applicable).

  • Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0
  • Passion/desire to work in this industry
  • Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Work on impactful, technically-challenging projects in the power generation industry during four 6-month rotations in a variety of disciplines, including Design, Analysis, Systems, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test
  • Enhance core engineering skills through Advanced Courses in Engineering and Business leadership training attended alongside other GE Vernova program members from other functions and locations
  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers
  • Participate in development training with other GE Vernova Development program members from other functions and locations
  • Have the opportunity to earn credit towards an MS degree in Engineering (if entering with a BS)
  • Grow technical expertise in your chosen field and expand skills in new areas
