About The Position

The EDI Specialist will be responsible for verifying data in Plex, correcting and standardizing Plex operations, and providing training to ensure system accuracy. This role involves analyzing abnormal data from PRP/MRP, monitoring Plex data maintenance, and ensuring the timely closure of orders and records to improve PRP/MRP accuracy. The specialist will also analyze planning and inventory data, create and revise MRP work instructions, and support departments in resolving Plex-related issues.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership, and customers.
  • Junior College degree or above.
  • Must be in good health, available to work long hours with a computer, and able to bear high stress.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software.
  • Familiarity with the company's production process and Plex operation.
  • Familiarity with EXCEL and other office software, with strong data analysis ability.
  • Good logic ability and strong data analysis ability.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of MRP operation.
  • Knowledge of MRP management.
  • Knowledge of management methods for material planning.
  • Experience with operation training for supply chain management and logistics management.
  • Familiarity with TS16040 Program manual.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • English and Mandarin language proficiency (spoken commonly in the workplace).

Responsibilities

  • Organize and analyze abnormal data from PRP/MRP to reduce anomalies.
  • Check, monitor, and report on the maintenance of Plex data regularly.
  • Monitor the on-time closure of orders and records in Plex to increase PRP/MRP accuracy.
  • Analyze planning and inventory data regularly and provide suggestions.
  • Create and revise MRP work instructions and management methods, monitoring execution status across departments.
  • Support fixing abnormal situations for departments using Plex and improve the using process.
  • Provide MRP and Plex modules training.
  • Improve the use of the MRP module to increase planner working efficiency.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of Plex data update plans, assessing their impact on MRP operations.
  • Confirm new material planning attributes.
  • Complete and report on assigned matters from superiors in a timely manner.
  • Understand environmental factors, dangerous sources, and their control methods.
  • Execute and implement integrated management system regulations and documentation.
  • Classify scrap and waste generated from the job.
  • Assist with other responsibilities as needed.
