EDI & Integration Architect

Millennium-•Delavan, WI

About The Position

The EDI & Integration Architect owns the architecture and support of integrations that exchange data between Millennium systems. The role evaluates integration requirements and selects an appropriate approach, such as Celigo, native or vendor-provided connectors, direct APIs, or file-based exchanges. It is the primary technical owner of Celigo integrator.io and Celigo B2B Manager, including EDI trading partner onboarding, maintenance, and error resolution. The architect serves as Millennium’s main technical contact for trading partners, works with implementation partner Stratus Green to bring flow development in-house, and partners with the NetSuite Administrator to investigate integration issues. The role leads integration design and lifecycle support, administers Celigo platforms and custom flows, onboards and maintains EDI trading partners, monitors integrations, and investigates root causes of failures. It also manages partner and vendor relationships, maintains technical documentation, and transfers knowledge and development capabilities from external partners to internal ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for inter-system data exchanges across new and existing platforms, from architectural design through ongoing support.
  • Evaluate integration requirements and choose an appropriate technical approach based on cost, reliability, monitoring, and long-term supportability.
  • Administer and own Celigo integrator.io and Celigo B2B Manager, including building and maintaining custom flows, field mappings, hooks, and lookups.
  • Onboard new EDI trading partners, including project kickoffs, ISA/GS identifier exchanges, AS2 setup, partner profiles, end-to-end testing, and production cutovers.
  • Maintain live trading partner connections in Celigo B2B Manager for ANSI X12 transaction sets 850, 860, 855, 856, 810, and 997.
  • Manage the AS2 certificate lifecycle, including generation, secure exchange with partners, and renewals before expiration.
  • Own, update, and version-control the Millennium EDI Implementation Guideline and notify external partners about schema or policy updates.
  • Monitor integration error queues and logs across Celigo and connected endpoints, and triage and resolve failed EDI and non-EDI records.
  • Investigate root causes and implement permanent systemic fixes rather than relying on manual retries or error suppression.
  • Use read access in NetSuite to diagnose integration and EDI data mismatches, and package and escalate required ERP adjustments to the NetSuite Administrator.
  • Open, track, and manage Celigo support tickets for platform defects or anomalies.
  • Serve as Millennium’s primary technical liaison for trading partners and their third-party EDI service providers.
  • Coordinate testing windows, go-live dates, and remediation plans with external technical teams.
  • Partner with Stratus Green on B2B Manager flow design while building internal development capabilities and transitioning external flow builds to internal ownership.
  • Manage day-to-day vendor operations and technical alignment with Celigo.
  • Author and maintain technical runbooks for trading partners and mission-critical integration workflows.
  • Create and update architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, transformation logic, and system dependency documentation in accordance with internal change management frameworks.
  • Execute a structured knowledge-transfer plan to transition external flow development from Stratus Green to full internal ownership.
