The Edge Network Engineer will lead architecture and integration for Cloud-to-Tactical Edge solutions, designing secure, resilient networks that enable portable compute platforms to operate in disconnected and contested environments. The role applies network design, zero-trust security, and sensor data fusion to systems that deliver real-time intelligence from sources such as video, telemetry, and IoT under extreme conditions. The position involves architecting end-to-end portable compute platforms that integrate compute, storage, and networking under SWaP-C constraints, as well as designing deterministic data paths for real-time situational awareness and decision support. The engineer works with a collaborative, cross-functional team and applies containerization, micro-service network architecture, and CI/CD tools including GitLab. Applicants must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and will be subject to a security investigation. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is required. The projected annualized compensation range is $86,900 to $198,000 USD. Booz Allen describes benefits that include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, dependent care, and recognition awards.
