About The Position
The ED Technician works per diem on the day shift at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, 1401 E State St. The role requires a qualifying nursing assistant, EMT, nursing education, or medical assistant certification, as well as Basic Life Support/CPR certification. No minimum education or work experience is required. A high school diploma or equivalent, computer experience, and basic EKG and/or phlebotomy are preferred.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant, EMT, completion of a fundamentals of nursing course with registration on the Illinois Department of Health Registry, completion of RN or LPN training in another country, or RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT certification.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
