ED Technician
About The Position
The ED Technician works at UW Health Swedish American Hospital at 1401 E State St. The schedule is 90% FTE, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., every other weekend, with rotating holidays. Compensation may include shift differentials of $3 per hour for evening shifts, $4 per hour for night shifts, and $3.25 per hour for weekend shifts, as applicable to hours worked, as well as overtime and on-call pay. Requirements
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or EMT; completion of a fundamentals of nursing course and registration on the Illinois Department of Health Registry; nursing training as an RN or LPN in another country; or RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT certification. Required.
- Annual CPR certification. Required

- Computer experience. Preferred.
- Basic EKG and/or phlebotomy. Preferred.
