About The Position

The ED Registrar (Registration Clerk) registers patients for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services according to hospital policies and procedures. The role verifies insurance coverage and benefits, serves as the first point of contact for patients arriving at the facility, and professionally and courteously collects monies due to the facility. The position is with Vitruvian Health at Westside ED and is scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Requirements

• Proficiency with computers.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduation or GED.
• One or two years of college.
• One year of experience in a hospital setting involving public contact work.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
