About The Position

Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a midlevel to senior associate to join its rapidly growing Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group in the San Francisco or Palo Alto office. The practice represents innovative companies and their founders throughout their lifecycle, including business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as the funds that invest in them. Clients range from newly formed startups to multi-billion-dollar technology market leaders. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collegial office environment with experienced practitioners on sophisticated matters at a national and global level. Requirements

Minimum of four years of experience.
California bar admission.
Stellar academic credentials and references.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.

Experience at a comparable law firm.
Experience advising clients on venture financings, corporate governance, and regulatory strategy relating to AI, Web3, blockchain, crypto, metaverse, and other frontier technologies.
