About The Position

Signet Jewelers is the world's largest retailer of diamond jewelry, operating more than 2,800 stores worldwide under iconic brands such as Kay Jewelers, Zales, and Jared. This HYBRID opportunity in Northeast, OH, involves the eCommerce Merchandiser supporting the day-to-day execution and maintenance of product assortments across Kay.com, KayOutlet.com, and PeoplesJewellers.com. The role focuses on accurate SKU setup, product data maintenance, and quality assurance within Signet’s Inventory Management and Product Information Management systems. The Ecommerce Merchandiser ensures products are accurately represented on site and ready for customer purchase, working cross-functionally with IT, Marketing, Merchandising, Distribution, and Customer Care for timely and accurate execution.

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in eCommerce, Digital or Data Integrity
  • The ability to learn, understand, and utilize Signet Akron’s internal systems (IMS, PIM, etc.) or e-commerce specific systems (Hybris, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of the Microsoft application suite including Outlook, Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Execute SKU setup and ongoing updates within PIM and related systems for Kay, Kay Outlet, and Peoples websites
  • Review and maintain product attributes, imagery, and content to ensure accuracy and customer‑friendly presentation
  • Assign products to the appropriate taxonomy, categories, and facet values following established guidelines
  • Support dropship assortment setup and maintenance, including basic inventory checks and vendor coordination
  • Perform QA checks before and after products go live to ensure accurate site display and readiness
  • Escalate data, inventory, or setup issues to senior team members as needed
  • Conduct routine site checks to validate product availability, pricing, links, and variations
  • Assist with product linking (e.g., size, metal, or style variations) to support proper site organization
  • Maintain clearance and promotional categorizations under guidance
  • Review marketing links and site placements to ensure accuracy and functionality
  • Document and report issues such as broken links, incorrect pricing, or missing product data
  • Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, IT, and Operations teams to support timely execution
  • Support resolution of basic product or order‑related issues by routing to the appropriate team
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and assigned projects
