As an Ecommerce & Marketing Data Analyst, you'll turn marketing, ecommerce, and product data into decisions. You'll build reports and dashboards, keep our product data feed accurate, and use Supply Chain's data to understand how quickly products sell and to help Marketing set goals for each product. You'll work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and our Business Systems teams so that our data is accurate, actionable, and aligned with business goals. You'll start with a problem statement and finish with a recommendation.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate data and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including analyzing and organizing large datasets
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or marketing analytics
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, including defining the problem before proposing a solution

Nice To Haves

  • Experience automating recurring reports or analysis
  • Experience managing or auditing product data feeds (for example, Google Merchant Center)
  • Experience using NetSuite reporting or other ERP systems
  • Experience with demand forecasting or inventory analysis
  • Experience with Google Ads or paid digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Experience with Looker, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Audit and manage our product data feed, catching errors before they affect advertising and sales, and implementing updates as needed
  • Identify the source of recurring data problems and hand them to the Business Systems team to fix at the root
  • Validate data accuracy across multiple reporting platforms
  • Analyze product velocity (how quickly each product sells) in partnership with Supply Chain and provide data and recommendations to support inventory planning and projected sales velocities
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to set marketing and sales goals for each product
  • Track forecast accuracy and improve the process over time
  • Analyze marketing, ecommerce, and sales performance to identify trends and opportunities
  • Assist with paid media performance reporting and campaign analysis
  • Build, maintain, and improve marketing dashboards and recurring reports
  • Create executive-level reports that help guide business decisions
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting automation and efficiency
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate actionable insights
  • Perform other duties as assigned
