The Ecommerce Business Analyst will be part of the Ecommerce Team, a group of digital business, customer experience, product management, and sales experts dedicated to driving significant growth. The Ecommerce Business Analyst will support this mission by gathering information, analyzing complex problems, and translating data into actionable insights. This role involves monitoring website performance, innovating reporting and forecasting processes, supporting leadership in goal measurement, and shaping KPIs to identify the impact of changes and focus resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 3+ years of demonstrated success as a business analyst or in a similar role
  • Experience in omni-channel retail with emphasis on Ecommerce or other DTC channels
  • Adobe Analytics: hands-on experience monitoring visitor and consumer engagement; ability to establish baselines and interpret differences across analytics platforms
  • Snowflake: experience querying and organizing data using SQL-based data warehousing
  • Excel: advanced proficiency for data manipulation, forecasting models, and ad-hoc analysis
  • AI and LLM prompting: demonstrated ability to use tools like Claude to accelerate analysis, generate insights, and streamline reporting workflows
  • A/B and multivariate testing: experience designing, executing, and interpreting website experiments with clear business recommendations
  • Experience compiling and analyzing large datasets and communicating results to senior stakeholders with actionable insights
  • Experience forecasting or planning using historical data, current trends, and assumptions
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices through dashboard or business report creation

Nice To Haves

  • Sigma: experience building and maintaining dashboards in Sigma for self-service business reporting
  • Looker: familiarity with Looker dashboards and Looks; experience supporting or managing a Looker migration is a plus
  • NetSuite: experience accessing and interpreting financial or operational data within NetSuite
  • Commercetools: familiarity with commerce platform data structures and order management reporting
  • Understanding of basic statistical models (regressions, cluster analysis) and their use in prediction and optimization; experience with R, Python, or similar tools is a plus
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills with the ability to communicate complex data clearly to executive audiences
  • Ability to handle complex and ambiguous problems while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly detail oriented, well organized, and able to demonstrate strong leadership and personal accountability within a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve Ecommerce performance dashboards in Sigma, ensuring self-service reporting.
  • Proactively monitor website performance daily, surfacing emerging trends, anomalies, and conversion rate shifts to Ecommerce leadership.
  • Support weekly business reporting on Ecommerce KPIs, providing clear visibility into performance drivers across Website, Amazon, and Inside Sales channels.
  • Deliver product performance insights, promotional hindsight analysis, and ad-hoc analytical requests for the Ecommerce team.
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to define and maintain necessary tables in Snowflake for KPIs.
  • Play a key role in total-business planning and forecasting, working cross-functionally to deliver sales and KPI targets.
  • Maintain end-to-end AOP KPIs in reporting dashboards with consistent updates aligned to changing forecasts.
  • Oversee net new processes for capturing, prioritizing, and delivering financial modeling requests.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate website tests, translating results into clear recommendations for site optimization.
  • Monitor and report on conversion rate performance, overlaying current trends against prior-year benchmarks.
  • Leverage Adobe Analytics as the primary web data source, establishing and maintaining accurate baselines.
  • Cross-train on additional web analytics tooling as needed.
  • Use AI tools and LLMs (e.g., Claude) to accelerate data analysis, draft insights, and improve reporting workflows.
  • Drive the Ecommerce team's transition toward self-service analytics.
  • Develop strong relationships with Merchandise Planning, Product Management, Consumer Insights, Marketing Strategy, and Advertising teams.
  • Collaborate with Product, Supply, and Ops teams to improve the S&OP process and identify promotional execution opportunities.
