About The Position

The primary role of the ECommerce Administrator is to maintain all ecommerce ordering site functionality, including user setup, maintenance of existing users, and site catalogs. This position is responsible for the accurate processing of daily, monthly, and yearly journal files for all financial reporting, and distributing all generated reports. The administrator will follow up on maintenance of files to ensure system stability, handle all credit card processing and electronic invoicing, and pass on end-user feedback to the appropriate internal teams. Additionally, this role involves identifying and suggesting procedural improvements, handling all PC setup according to established standards, installing necessary software, and maintaining hardware and software assignments. The administrator will also purchase new equipment and licenses, provide Help Desk support, and maintain customer and end-user confidence by protecting confidential information. Compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations is expected to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Flexible scheduling may be required, including evenings, after business hours, and weekends, with other duties and departmental projects assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
  • Familiarity with both PC and Mac hardware and operating systems.
  • Working level of experience with Microsoft Office, Office365, Internet Browsers, and Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge and maintenance of printers and ability to manage print servers.
  • Experience with network repairs and analysis.
  • Education in computer repairs and how to troubleshoot problems.
  • Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, server roles and services.
  • Understanding of IT security concepts including malware remediation using antivirus and endpoint security tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years technical education – Associates Degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a Help Desk environment.
  • 2+ years administration of Microsoft O365 business applications in a Help Desk environment.
  • 1yr+ Network LAN/WAN Experience: TCIP/IP/Subnet, VLAN, Site-to-Site VPN, Remote Management tools.
  • 1yr+ Network management/maintenance experience with switches, routers, firewalls, running Ethernet cables.
  • Good Customer Service Skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to help customers and end users fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience.
  • Writing and Editing Skills to aid in writing and updating manuals.
  • Excellent presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively within a team.
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and help the team get work done.
  • Manage and organize time to meet objectives and deadlines.
