About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented Ecommerce Accounting Specialist to support our finance team with daily accounting operations. This role will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, with a focus on ecommerce transactions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volumes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• Experience with AP/AR and reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with large transaction volumes and spreadsheets
• Experience with ecommerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, eBay)

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with inventory or cost accounting
• Basic understanding of sales tax compliance
• Strong Excel skills and process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable and vendor payments
• Track accounts receivable, record deposits, and monitor overdue payments
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Reconcile transactions from ecommerce platforms and payment processors
• Record fees, refunds, chargebacks, and settlements accurately
• Maintain bookkeeping and journal entries in QuickBooks Online
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Support sales, returns, and margin tracking for ecommerce channels
• Maintain spreadsheets for tracking sales, expenses, and settlements
