About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring an Echocardiology Technician for a full-time acute care role in Hot Springs, Arkansas within a cardiology services department. This role involves performing echocardiography procedures in an acute care setting, working within a cardiology services team, and supporting physicians with diagnostic imaging.

Requirements

• Cardiac Sonography training REQUIRED
• BLS certification REQUIRED
• Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environment REQUIRED
• Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

• Echo Registry certification preferred OR registry-eligible (must obtain within one year)
• Carotid training preferred
• Associate’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform ECHO procedures according to professional standards
• Review patient history and prepare patients for procedures
• Educate patients on procedures
• Administer contrast media when ordered
• Monitor patient status during procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Ensure safety and quality control standards
• Analyze imaging results and address quality concerns
• Enter and transmit reports and scan results
