Echocardiography Tech - Cardiology Diagnostics
About The Position
The intermediate-level Echocardiographer performs and assists with a variety of adult echocardiographic tests and related duties in accordance with department policies and procedures, providing high-quality diagnostic studies. The role includes obtaining pediatric echocardiographic images according to CCMC pediatric protocol and providing safe, appropriate care to patients undergoing echocardiography through a comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. The Echocardiographer provides preliminary findings to a Cardiologist to aid in interpretation of the study.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a health-related field.
- One year of previous echocardiography experience.
- RCS certification by CCI or RDCS certification by ARDMS.
- Valid CPR certification.

- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
- Two years of echocardiography experience in a hospital setting.
