About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology, the Echocardiographer performs a variety of highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures using non-ionizing, high-frequency ultrasonic waves. The position works within the scope of practice of Cardiology Services and hospital policies and procedures, and supports the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, and goals.
Requirements
- Associate degree in radiologic technology, or equivalent education or experience in a related health care field.
- BLS training required.
- At least 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience.
Nice To Haves
- RDCS registry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures using non-ionizing, high-frequency ultrasonic waves.
- Work within the scope of practice of Cardiology Services and follow hospital policies and procedures.
- Support the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, and goals.
