About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology, the Echocardiographer performs highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures using non-ionizing, high-frequency ultrasonic waves. The role operates within the scope of practice of Cardiology Services and hospital policies and procedures, and supports the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, and goals. This is a bargaining union position.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience.
- Associate degree in radiologic technology, or equivalent education or experience in a related health care field.
- BLS training required.
Nice To Haves
- RDCS registry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasonographic procedures using non-ionizing, high-frequency ultrasonic waves.
