About The Position

Sentara Beach Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Echocardiographer. This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts starting at 8 am, and call is required. The Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. The role involves working in the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU, and also with patients at the bedside.

Requirements

Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree - CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma
Echo Tech experience in lieu of education
Basic Life Support Required
Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire

Responsibilities

Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests
