About The Position

Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Senior Echocardiographer to join their team. This full-time position involves performing a variety of diagnostic tests including Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiograms, and Doppler ultrasounds. The Echocardiographer will work in various settings such as the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, Operating Room, Intensive Care Unit, and also provide patient care at the bedside.

Requirements

3 years of experience required
Basic Life Support Required
Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests
Perform Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram
Perform Doppler ultrasound
Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU
Work with patients at the bedside
