About The Position

The Echocardiographer is responsible for performing established echocardiography procedures and considering age-related factors when caring for, treating, educating, and evaluating patients from neonates to geriatrics. The role applies age-related knowledge in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies and procedures, performs procedures safely, observes universal precautions, and pursues professional development to continually improve patient care. Performs related work as required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• BLS certification through the American Red Cross is required upon hire; AHA and military certifications are accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of echo experience.

• Vascular experience preferred.
