About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and provide high-quality imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The technician will perform approximately 8–10 echocardiogram exams per day while maintaining excellent patient care and technical standards.

Requirements

RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) credential preferred/required.
Formal training in echocardiography from an accredited program.
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echocardiographic techniques.
Ability to perform echocardiograms independently and efficiently.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive echocardiographic examinations according to established protocols.
Perform approximately 8–10 exams per day efficiently and accurately.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and Doppler measurements for interpretation by physicians.
Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and cooperation throughout the examination.
Accurately document patient information, exam findings, and required measurements.
Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment according to department standards.
Recognize and obtain additional images when clinically indicated.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
