About The Position
This is a Sterile Processing Technician position in Mattoon, IL. The role involves working with sterile processing equipment and ensuring the proper sterilization of medical instruments. The shift is typically nights, with options for 10:30p-7a, 9p-5:30a, or 8p-4:30a. This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- 2 years of hospital experience.
- Prior travel experience.
- C.R.C.S.T required.
- Knowledge of ortho trays and vendor sets.
- Experience with BELIMED washer/disinfectors, sterilizers and STERIS low temp sterilizers.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize medical instruments using various equipment.
- Operate BELIMED washer/disinfectors and sterilizers.
- Operate STERIS low temp sterilizers.
- Knowledge of ortho trays and vendor sets.
Benefits
- Daily OT after 24 hours
- Weekly OT after 40 hours
