About The Position
This position is for a Sterile Processing Technician in Austell, GA. The contract is for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week. The shift is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 1 year of sterile processing experience in a hospital and/or outpatient setting. The technician must be able to retain knowledge of identification and necessary handling requirements of surgical instruments, medical supplies, and equipment.

- Must be able to retain knowledge of identification and necessary handling requirements of surgical instruments, medical supplies and equipment.
- CRCST - Cert Reg Central Service Tech or CRCST-P - Certified Central Service Tech Provisional (1 year) within 1 Year or CSPDT - Cert Sterile Proc & Dist Tech or CSPDT-P - Cert Sterile Proc & Dist Tech - Provisional (1 Year) within 1 Year

- Certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. If certifications are not in-hand, the packet must note “Willing to Obtain”.
