About The Position
Works closely with the cardiologist to perform cardiac ultrasound procedures at the technical level, contributing to efficient department operations and promoting the philosophy of quality and continuity of patient care. Maintains the standard of care delivered to adult and geriatric patients. The position is located in Monticello, Illinois, with a day shift and a schedule that varies as needed.
Requirements
- Must be ARDMS or RCS registered, or actively pursuing registration.
- One year of clinical experience in a progressive Ultrasound Department or an Ultrasound Training Program that meets ARDMS requirements for registry eligibility.
- Must be CPR certified.
- Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures in collaboration with the cardiologist.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the department.
- Promote the quality and continuity of patient care.
- Maintain the standard of care for adult and geriatric patients.
